SFPS Digital Learning Summer Camp 2026

Story Driven STEM brings literacy and STEM together by using stories as a starting point for hands-on problem solving. In this session, K–2 teachers will explore how students can identify challenges faced by story characters and design creative solutions through the engineering process. Participants will learn practical strategies for guiding structured creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking through meaningful, story-driven design experiences.

This hands-on Cricut workshop begins with a brief overview of commonly used materials and the types of projects they support. Participants will then explore Cricut’s design platform, Design Space, gaining some of the basic skills and confidence needed to navigate the software and effectively integrate this versatile tool into classrooms and school spaces as a shared instructional resource. 

Note: Design Space software is required to effectively participate in this session
