In an increasingly digital world, keyboarding remains a fundamental skill for academic success. This session explores Type Station, Skill Struck’s gamified keyboarding platform designed to improve your students' typing speed and accuracy. In Type Station, students learn keyboarding basics, advance their typing skills, and learn how to use the keys needed for beginner-advanced coding.

• What you’ll learn: How to track student progress, customize typing goals, and use the "gamified" elements to keep students motivated from kindergarten through high school.
• Takeaway: Leave with a plan to integrate typing practice into your daily routine without sacrificing instructional time.

At grade levels 3-5, Skill Struck offers four 'tracks' for teachers and learners: Blocks Pro, Puzzles, Robotics, and Web Development. All Skill Struck curriculum is available in English and Spanish.

Students as early as Kindergarten can learn computer science concepts. In Skill Struck's Launch Pad, students Students can:

• Use inclusive characters and story development scripts to help express themselves through code.
• Start getting comfortable with coding concepts through click-an- drag components.
• Receive immediate feedback on their block-coding challenges so they can progress at their own pace.
